Vegan Cookbook Review
The Sexy Vegan Cookbook
Extraordinary Food from an Ordinary Dude
by Brian Patton
The Sexy Vegan Cookbook by Brian Patton
The Sexy Vegan Cookbook, Extraordinary Food from an Ordinary Dude, Brian Patton

The Sexy Vegan Cookbook deserves your full attention for rich hearty “comfort” diner-type vegan recipes. Each page contains beverages, meat substitutions, soups, salads, entrees, snacks, condiments and desserts that a local diner would have on their menu. By now you know that I prefer vegan cookbooks with slick thick paper and color photography on every page, but the Sexy Vegan meets none of my preferences. Instead, the recycled paper pages contain flavorful vegan recipes that anyone can follow with great success.

Caution: At first, I hesitated to even give The Sexy Vegan Cookbook a review because of the vulgar attempts at humor. But even before I became a vegan, I learned to “EAT the Chicken and Spit OUT the BONES.” There are some amazing recipes in this vegan cookbook that you won’t want to miss. Yes, there are abbreviations and words that are not appropriate for young viewers. So you’ll need to be willing to overlook the" potentially offensive expressions."

The Sexy Vegan Content
Chapter 1: The Most Important Meal of the Day…Cocktails!
Chapter 2: Beatin’ the Meat – Meat Substitutions
Chapter 3: The Second Most Important Meal of the Day, After Cocktails – Breakfast
Chapter 4: Spoon-Fed – Soups
Chapter 5: Go Fork Yourself! Salads
Chapter 6: Handheld – Sandwiches
Chapter 7: The Dinner Bell – Entrees
Chapter 8: Pizza!!!
Chapter 9: Snackage
Chapter 10: Condiments and Sauces
Bonus Chapter: We All Scream!!! Ice Cream

My Favorite Sexy Vegan Recipes
Tempeh Chorizo, page 36
Tempeh Chorizo flavored some Scrambled Tofu, became the base for a breakfast burrito with black beans and Diaya cheese and made a perfect filling for my Vegan Gringo Tamales.

My Balls, The Sexy Vegan Cookbook by Brian Patton
My Balls, page 26, The Sexy Vegan by Brian Patton

My Balls, page 26
The flavor of My Balls is outstanding! I think I’ll use a few on a pizza tonight. I served My Balls on a pasta covered with a simple tomato marinara sauce and a salad. The flavor is excellent along with the texture.

New England Blam Chowder, page 62
Mushroom “clams” and seaweed powder provide the “fishiness” for this non-clam chowdera.

The Author

Brian Patton’s YouTube “How-To” Videos document his huge weight lost as he became vegan in his vegan meal preparations. Brian's interesting and entertaining vegan adventure is off-the-scale in style, so be warned that it is not for the young or the easily offended.

Recommendation
The wholesome flavorful recipes make The Sexy Vegan a perfect cookbook addition to any ADULT vegan library. Just his Condiments and Sauces Chapter is worth the cover price.
