The TASTE
As for the taste of Soyatoo Soy Whip, I LOVE it. It's not real cream, but it doesn't have a nasty after taste like some soy products. When whipped with the wire whisk on my Cuisinart Stand Mixer, the contents doubled in volume. And you can see in the photo that it was smooth, fluffy and stuck to the spoon upside down... amazing!

The whipped Soyatoo was thick enough to hold on to the spoon upside down.

Even after two days, I could stand an ice tea spoon up in the whipped Soyatoo.

Vegan Essentials sells the boxed version of Soyatoo... a whipped dessert topping canned version may be found refrigerated in Whole Foods and other health food stores. The refrigerated version costs more, yields less in volume and does not hold its shape long term like the boxed version.

The Refrigerated Canned Soyatoo Soy Whip
I use Soyatoo!® Soy Whip™ mostly for convenience. It's instant gratification without having to pull out my Cuisinart Stand Mixer to whip up a batch. It behaves and tastes just like normal whipped cream when sprayed and is impressive as toppings for coffee drinks, shortcakes, pudding, berries, etc. Because it can loose it's shape, my suggestion is to apply Soyatoo as a dessert topping just before consuming so that it looks great at presentation.
