Yves Meatless Canadian Bacon
Blended with unique spices, slow cooked, smoky taste and aromas of real Canadian bacon, Yves Meatless Canadian Bacon is a great addition for vegan recipes.

Ingredients
water, vital wheat gluten, isolated soy protein, natural flavors, autolyzed yeast extract, salt, vitamins & minerals (potassium, magnesium, iron, iron oxide, zinc oxide, calcium panthothenate, vitamin b1, vitamin b12, wheat starch, caramel and beet powder, carrageenan, guar & locust bean gum, organic evaporated cane juice.
Contains: SOY & WHEAT.
Manufactured in a facility that uses egg and milk ingredients.

3 Cheese Baked Pasta with Yves Canadian Bacon

3 Cheese Baked Pasta
This recipe reminds me of a pasta dish we ordered in New York with "real cheese". Thanks to Teese and Sunergia, there are now vegan products available that allow me to create some pasta dishes that are cheesy and creamy.

Ingredients
1 16 ounce package of rigatoni or similar pasta
1 package Yves Meatless Canadian Bacon, large dice or julienne (6 ounces)
2 large plum tomatoes, chopped
4 ounces Sunergia Tomato Garlic Soy Feta Cheese, crumbled
4 ounces Teese Mozzarella Cheese, grated
4 ounces Galaxy Mozzarella Cheese, grated
1 1/2 tablespoons fresh thyme, leaves only
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, (omit if you don't like HEAT)
Wildwood Creamer2 tablespoons sun-dried tomatoes, diced
1 1/2 cups Wildwood Soy Creamer or Trader Joe's Soymilk Creamer
non-stick oil spray
sea salt
olive oil

Tools
cheese grater
large pasta pot
pasta drainer
measuring cups
measuring spoons
baking dish, 13 x 9 x 2-inch
steamer pot with lid

Preparation
Preheat Oven
Preheat oven to 400°F.

Prepare Baking Dish
Spray a 13 x 9 x 2-inch glass baking dish with a non-stick oil spray.

Boil the Pasta
Cook pasta in large pot of boiling salted water with a splash of olive oil until just tender, al dente, but still firm when bitten.
Drain and return to cooking pot.vegan soy cheeses
Plum tomatoes, fresh thyme, dried oregano, Teese, Sunergia Tomato Garlic Soy Feta Cheese, and Galaxy Mozzarela Cheese.

Add Cheeses
Mix into the cooked pasta ALL the remaining ingredients: Yves Meatless Canadian Bacon, tomatoes, cheeses, herbs, spices and creamer.

Stir till all the pasta is coated with the cheeses.

Pour into the prepared baking dish.

In the preheated oven set at 400°F, bake pasta uncovered for 20 minutes.asparagusSteam Asparagus
About 5 minutes before the pasta is finished baking, steam fresh asparagus or your favorite vegetable to go with the 3 Cheese Pasta.

plated 3 Cheese Pasta
3 Cheese Baked Pasta with Yves Canadian Bacon, fresh steamed asparagus and crusty bread spread with Poor Man's Pesto.

Presentation
Scoop a portion of the 3 Cheese Pasta with Yves Meatless Canadian Bacon onto your serving plate and add the steamed asparagus. I broiled a piece of crusty bread spread with my Poor Man's Pesto completes the meal.
