Aspargus Spears
Ingredients
5 fresh asparagus spears per person
sea salt
white pepper
Preparation
I like to serve at least 5 asparagus spears per person.
Trim the ends of all the asparagus spears and rinse in cold water.
Pre-heat the skillet over medium heat and add 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil.
Toss in all the asparagus and flip in the pan until warmed through.
I like the asparagus crunchy and not limp and overcooked.
Add a twist of a fine sea salt and a pinch of white pepper.
HINT: Cook the asparagus spears just before plating so they are hot when served.
