Bio Bidet 300: A Spring of JOY
   
A vacation revelation gave rise to an everyday inspiration when we experiened a resort toilet with a built-in bidet. We laughed our heads off when trying it out the first time, but could not deny the joy of posteriors that were "shower clean." So when we returned home, I started researching "toilet seat bidets" for our home and office.

The Cost
Cost was a factor to consider along with the desire to have a warm water spray. The rental properties at which we live and work do not have access to the hot water lines without drilling through gorgeous built-in hardwood cabinetry. So I had to find a bidet system that fit on the toilet and included heating element. After several hours of "googling," I found the affordable Bio Bidet BB-300.



A Universal Fit
The Bio Bidet BB-300 is designed to fit almost every toilet regardless of model or shape. It comes with a built-in heater and motor and requires only a simple cold water connection. It has a unique self-standing design for the warm water heater that allows users to install it on either side of a toilet for easy access if right or left handed. The profile of the heater tank is slim and fits easily next to any toilet… even in narrow areas.


The Warm Water Spray
The Bio Bidet BB-300 also comes with a convenient nozzle plate that installs between the existing toilet and seat and supplies continuous warm water for up to a full minute with an automatic shut off feature. The built-in motor generates aerated bubbles for a gentle yet effective cleansing. Operation is simple… with the push of a button, the water temperature and water pressure can be finely tuned to your preferred setting. The nozzle drops down when activated and retracts when you press "STOP." There are five settings for the spray water pressure, ranging from low to high. The Bio Bidet BB-300 comes with one of the largest water tanks available and offers a maximum water flow for better cleansing. Simply adjust the convenient controls to set your desired water pressure.

The Water Temperature
For comfort, there are four different water temperature settings. In the OFF position, the water will be about room temperature, but with a simple push of a button you can increase the water temperature to as high as 104 degrees Fahrenheit. And once your preferences are preset, enjoying the Bio Bidet BB-300 each day will be as easy as pressing the Start and Stop buttons; it's just that simple.

Installation
The unit comes with all the items needed, but every plumbing situation is an adventure. We are in a very modern building but the plumbing connections did not correspond with the enclosed connectors. So we went to the nearest hardware store to find the adapters required. When we installed the seat with the Bio Bidet Plate, the toilet seat's screws were not long enough to attach the nuts on underside, so we had to go to the hardware store again to find longer screws. As with any installation, it may take longer than you estimate if it involves hardware store safaris.

Positioning
The nozzle on the Bio Bidet 300 is stationary, so you'll have to position yourself over the spray -- leaning forward and/or backward. You'll easily get the feel it and figure out the position for the most effective spray area. I keep a basket of clean wash cloths rolled up in a basket and another basket for used cloths near the toilet. This makes drying up or cleaning up any "liquid richochet" easy. Guests can enjoy the Bio Bidet too and will appreciate the wash cloths help them clean up if needed.


Toilet Paper Savings
We were surprised how much our toilet tissue usage has dropped. In fact we only use toilet tissue as a "checker" or "dryer" and NEVER for wiping!
