With Phiten Titanium
While vacationing in Honolulu in June, 2006, my instep of my left foot started giving me intense pain... not something you want when vacationing. I think wearing no-arched slippers started the pain, but that really doesn't matter. While in Shirokya, a Japanese store in Ala Mona Shopping Center, I saw Phiten Titanium Tape for sale. I'd been introduced to this 8 years ago when I lived in Honolulu, but I didn't have any use for it at the time and I gave my sample to my mother-in-law who used these potions all the time.

Being younger and less into questionable remedies, I pooh-poohed the product. Now in pain, it looked and sounded interesting. The next day Rob-ART started to complain about shoulder, wrist and calf pains that had been bugging him off and on before the trip to Hawaii. I suggested he try the tape, but put me off. We were at the Marukai store looking for some of our favorite Asian food treats when we saw they had Phiten products. He decided to try a necklace (alternating them around his ankle and neck) and the wrist band. He experienced immediate relief and was now a true believer.

When we got back to California, he decided he wanted to get something for his lower back and didn't want to use the tape. So I suggested he measure his waist and get necklaces the length that would fit his waist. He linked them together and wears them whenever he's achy... works right away.

Phiten does make a waist-band for back pain, but Rob-ART wanted something less expensive and lighter on his body.
