Cut-Protection Glove

I can't tell you how many times I've severely cut my hand, scraped a knuckle, nicked the tip of a fingernail or simply slipped while using a V-slicer mandoline. The Microplane Glove is stretchy, light-weight, and seamless. The glove has fine steel threads woven into the synthetic yarn that protects my hand from cuts... when I remember to put it on! No more cuts, scrapes, nicks, or slips while preparing my vegan recipes.

After using my Borner V-Slicer, I noticed that the end of one of the fingers of the glove was frayed, but still provides ample protection. So be aware that you can slice through. Glove Cleaning
Once finished with my slicing or grating, I run water over my glove while still on my and add a squirt of dish soap. I lather it up and remove the glove. Under hot water I rinse it thoroughly and press the excess water between layers of a clean dish towel. I then hang it on a kitchen wall hook to dry.

If you need to use the glove again before it is dry, it still works just fine. Put it on and continue cutting as needed.
