The wood they make those inexpensive spoons from is porous and rough. No matter how long you use it, it will never look or feel like these fine olive wood utensils.

Crafted in France from smooth olivewood, these one-of-a-kind spoons and spatulas have a distinctive grain and color variation. These utensils have replace all those cheaply made wooden sticks in my tool holder.

Hand-washing is recommended for these beauties and dry the off after cleaning.
