The Simple Human Trashcan is the Rolls Royce of trashcans... it looks good in any kitchen. Measuring an ultra slim 11 inches wide by 28.25 inches tall and 14.75 inches deep, this space-saving trashcan takes up minimal space in my kitchen. A gentle press of the lid and it opens whisper-quiet. It stays open as long as I want and I don't have to keep pressing a pedal to keep the lid open. There a recessed handle that helps in moving the trashcan if you want to place it in a closer relationship to where you might be working.

The extra wide trashcan opening accommodates bulky items. Made of brushed steel, it holds 12 gallons... and my husband knows I love to fill it to the brim. Clean up is a breeze... the entire top comes off and can be washed in the sink. The inner liner that holds the bag is removable too for washing.

This isn't an inexpensive K-Mart plastic trashcan... it costs more than I've ever spent on a trashcan! But the time it saves me in clean up in the kitchen is worth every dollar spent. And it looks GOOD in my kitchen!

The folks at Simple Human are fabulous! The lid broke a spring and Simple Human sent me a replacement top for free!!!!! Now that is customer service! Needless to say, this is my trashcan company for life!
